PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – For the fourth and final weekend, a portion of Interstate 84 in Portland will be closed as part of a massive repaving project.
The 5.5-mile westbound stretch of the freeway between Interstate 5 and Interstate 205 will be closed from 11 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday for lane stripping and sign replacement.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and expect lengthy delays. Detour options include Powell and Sandy boulevards, and Burnside and Lombard streets.
