2 held in Portland rape, wrench beating

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two men are behind bars after allegedly raping two homeless women in Portland, then beating one of them with a wrench.

Bradley Ritmiller and Bobb Alsup were arrested and this week indicted by a Multnomah County grand jury. Police said the assaults happened within an hour of each other.

It’s alleged the men met the two women, 44 and 27, near SE 82nd and Powell. The women suffered injuries to their faces and chests.

Ritmiller, 21, and Alsup, 20, face sodomy, rape and kidnap charges.

The investigation continues and investigators believe there may be more victims.
