Sheriff’s Office: Runaway case solved


Update 7/28/13 9:30 p.m.: The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports both sisters have “returned home safely,” according to a news release. “There is no indication at this time that either one was harmed. Deputies are working with the family to try and prevent any future incidents of the younger sister running away from home.”

The older sister returned home first, the sheriff’s office reported Saturday.

ALOHA, Ore. (KOIN) — Authorities are concerned for the welfare of two teenage sisters who ran away from their home in Aloha.

Deputies responded and took a report of 15-year-old Catlin Screws who ran away with her sister, 18-year-old Harlie Screws.

Washington County Sheriff’s Detectives believe that the girls are with two older men, the identities of the men are not being released at this time.
