VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN) — Todd Sheets lives with more than 200 celebrities in Vancouver. They’re all framed and on his walls.
Elizabeth Taylor, James Caan, Michael Douglas, Tom Cruise, Tim Allen, Robin Williams, Sylvester Stallone. They’re all there.
Sheets began collecting autographs in 1982 when he wrote to Dudley Moore asking for advice on the music industry.
“Dudley Moore answered my letter, and it was such a nice surprise to see an autographed letter from Dudley Moore, and that got me hooked,” he told KOIN 6 News.
Bill Gates, David Copperfield, Clint Eastwood, Lindsay Wagner, Jewell, Marion Ross.
“A few of the nicer ones like Claudia Schiffer, she sent that from Germany. That’s my only out-of-country and I was thrilled,” he said. “I’ve had a crush on her — with my wife’s permission — for a very long time.”
Halle Berry, Ed McMahon, Clint Howard and a number of presidents of the United States. The presidential collection, he said, is worth the most — worth as much as $1,300.
But he ran into a real estate problem with Donald Trump’s autograph.
“I ran out of wall space and thought [the bathroom was] a very appropriate place for him.”
