Two rescued after getting stuck on Cannon Beach cliff

CANNON BEACH, Ore. (AP) — Two people stuck on a cliff near Cannon Beach have been rescued.

The Daily Astorian reports a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crew hoisted one of the women off the cliff Sunday afternoon.

A fire and rescue team got the second woman off the cliff.

The cliff is at Chapman Point at the north end of Cannon Beach.

No serious injuries were reported.
