ONTARIO, Ore. (AP) — A 13-year-old boy out fishing with two friends is missing in the Snake River.

The friends told deputies the youth slipped and wasn’t a strong swimmer.

Malheur County Undersheriff Travis Johnson says they were on rocks at the base of a railroad trestle Sunday when they boy fell in.

Johnson says searchers were out until dark Sunday and resumed a search Monday, using boats, an underwater camera and aircrafts flying along the river on the border between Oregon and Idaho.
