Portlanders seeks ‘Justice for Trayvon’

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland was among the 100 cities nationwide that rallied seeking justice for Trayvon Martin one week after a jury found George Zimmerman not guilty of murder.

Several hundred people gathered at the federal courthouse in downtown Portland Saturday and heard speakers say what happened in Sanford, Florida can happen here.

Speakers and those in attendance shared stories of racial profiling by citizens and police.
