PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland is the most hipster city in the US. Ex-champ Austin can’t believe it.

A recent Movoto Real Estate blog comparing the hipsterness of US cities found Portland’s record stores, vintage clothing shops, vegetarian and vegan restaurants, dive bars, farmers markets, and most importantly, coffee shops outdoes Austin.

Portlanders, however, don’t care — about Austin or Public Policy Polling that shows Americans are so over hipsters.

We will just have dinner at a food cart, get a microbrew, some locally made ice cream and then brush our teeth with non-fluoridated water.

By the way, how much do three hipsters weigh? One Instagram.

To see how Austin is dealing with this defeat, read the story on KOIN 6 News sister station KXAN’s website.
