Scappoose crash blocks Hwy. 30, traps 2

(KOIN) – No one was seriously hurt following a two-vehicle collision in Scappoose that shut down Highway 30 Thursday morning.

The Scappoose Fire District reports that the crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. in the area of Highway 30 and Havlik Drive.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find two people trapped in a van that had rolled onto its side.  After stabilizing the van, the occupants were safely pulled out.

There were no injuries to the occupants of either vehicle. The cause of the crash were not confirmed.

The highway was reopened sometime before 1 p.m.
