BEAVERTON, Ore. (KOIN) — Power is expected to come back shortly for nearly 9,000 PGE customers in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties Sunday night.
As of 7:25 p.m., 7,205 customers in Washington County, 1,500 customers in Multnomah County and 211 customers in Clackamas County were without electricity.
PGE reports that most of the outages in Washington County are due to a substation problem in Beaverton, Ore.
As of 7:30 p.m. PGE reported that power should be restored to that area by around 9:30 p.m. However, as of 9:19 p.m., PGE’s website reported that heat was “keeping PGE crews busy” — with about 7,000 in Beaverton still without power “due to substation issue.”
As of 9:19 p.m., it’s website reported that “Power will be rerouted in next 2 hrs & service restored.”
