(KOIN) – Two men accused of setting fire to a garbage dumpster at Mill Park Elementary School in Southeast Portland earlier this year have been arrested.

On March 6, surveillance video released by Portland police showed the suspects setting the dumpster fire, which was extinguished before spreading to the school.

On Thursday, Daniel Cristurean and Jonathan Austin Weatherall, both 24, turned themselves in to Portland Fire & Rescue arson investigators. Police did not confirm how the suspects were identified.

The men were lodged in the Multnomah County Jail on counts of reckless burning, second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree mischief.
