‘Key witness’ sought in Gresham murder

GRESHAM, Ore. (KOIN) – Detectives are looking for a man who could have information regarding an apparent gang-related shooting that occurred at a Gresham apartment complex earlier this month.

On June 9, 21-year-old Andreas Jones-Dixon was shot and killed in a parking lot in the 19000 block of East Burnside Street. No suspects have been arrested in the case.

On Tuesday, Gresham police reported that 24-year-old David Allan Sanders is believed to be a “key witness” in the case. Sanders is wanted on unrelated warrants and may have gang ties, Gresham police said. He is believed to be in the Portland metro area.
