Car hits power pole, closes TV Highway

BEAVERTON, Ore. (KOIN) — A single-car crash shut down Tualatin Valley Highway at 139th Street in Beaverton early Friday evening.

The driver of a white Buick sedan hit a power pole and caused enough damage the pole will need to be replaced.

Beaverton Officer Mike Rowe said the crash resulted in TV Highway being closed  for a few hours between SW Murray Blvd and SW Hocken Ave while the pole is replaced.

The Portland/Western train tracks were also shut down in this area due to the crash.

The driver of the sedan was not injured in the crash, Neither speed nor alcohol are suspected.
