Beaverton officer pleads not guilty to rape charge

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — A Beaverton police officer pleaded not guilty Thursday in Vancouver to a child rape charge.

The Oregonian reports the trial for 33-year-old Christopher Ramoan Warren is scheduled for Aug. 19 in Clark County Superior Court.

Warren lives in Vancouver and has been on paid leave since April when he pleaded not guilty in Washington County Circuit Court to separate charges of food stamp fraud.
