PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Independent Police Review is releasing its annual report on the Portland Police Bureau.

The report details six officer-involved shootings in 2012, two of which were deadly.

The report also lists 413 community complaints about police conduct. Most of those complaints cited “rude behavior.”

Fifty-six complaints claimed officers violated use-of-force policies.

As a result of the complaints, the report shows one officer was demoted, 12 officers were suspended without pay and three others resigned or retired — with an investigation pending.
