PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man outside a club in Northeast Portland earlier this month has been indicted by a Multnomah County grand jury.
Bradley O’Rourke, 30, faces one count each of murder, attempted murder and first-degree assault. He was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning.
Prosecutors allege O’Rourke shot and killed 33-year-old Anton Hill and wounded 21-year-old Joy Williams. O’Rourke turned himself in to detectives May 17, one day after the district attorney’s office filed charges against him.
The May 8 shooting occurred in the parking lot of Club Skinn on Northeast 60th Avenue. Detectives are trying to determine if it resulted from a fight over a woman. Police said there do not appear to be any gang ties.
Williams is said to be recovering from a gunshot wound to the arm and has to wear a sling, family members said.
Specific details have not been released by police. An affidavit for arrest was sealed by the district attorney’s office, records show.
