PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A grand jury has re-indicted a 43-year-old North Portland man accused of drugging women and having sex with them.
Marlin B. Pohlman was arraigned Tuesday in Multnomah County Circuit Court on a 13-count grand jury indictment. Three new drug charges were added, court records show. He faces counts of first-degree rape, first-degree sex abuse, first-degree sodomy and first-degree kidnapping. He plead not guilty to the charges.
Portland police said they seized drug evidence from Pohlman’s home in the 7000 block of North Chase Avenue. Samples were sent to the Oregon State Police Crime Lab for testing.
Court documents obtained by KOIN show one woman told investigators she met Pohlman at a rave where he was providing people with free drugs. She told police that Pohlman was giving people ecstasy and nitrous, court documents state.
Four women have come forward and claimed Pohlman drugged them, officials said.
On March 13, Pohlman was arrested at Portland International Airport after returning from a trip to Thailand.
Pohlman is scheduled to appear back in court June 25. He remains lodged in the Multnomah County Detention Center on $1.5 million bail.
