(KOIN) – One of three men wanted in a violent home invasion robbery in London, Ohio, earlier this year was captured Thursday by U.S. Marshals at a Motel 6 in Salem, Ore.

Oregon State Police (OSP) report that U.S. Marshals located 24-year-old Zachary Davis at the motel. He fled on foot, but was later caught and arrested. Heroin, prescription pill and meth were found on his person, OSP said.

On March 30, three masked men armed with handguns broke into a home in London, Ohio, assaulted the homeowner with a baseball bat. The victim’s 10-year-old daughter was thought to have been kidnapped, but was later found in the house. The men fled with several items, including laptop computers, a handgun and signed sports memorabilia.

On April 15, Davis was identified as one of suspects. On May 7, an aggravated burglary warrant was issued for his arrest. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio learned that Davis was in Salem, and contacted the U.S. Marshals Service.

Davis is lodged in the Marion County Jail awaiting extradition to Ohio.
