Armed masked men hit St. Helens Muchas Gracias

Three men armed with semi-automatic handguns escaped after robbing a Muchas Gracias restaurant Saturday morning in St. Helens.

The St. Helens Police Department reports that the robbery occurred at about 2 a.m. at the restaurant located at 155 N. Columbia River Hwy. Surveillance video shows two of the men pulling out handguns and pointing them at the clerk. After the clerk opens the cash register and clears out the till, the men flee.

All three suspects are believed to be white and in their 20s. The first is described as wearing a heavy-hooded jacket, white ball cap and a purple bandana. The second was wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket with white vertical stripes and white trip around the hood.

The third, who did not show a gun, was wearing a long-sleeved denim shirt, a black beanie cap and a black bandana over his face.
